Penny’s Pigeon Aid Group

Happy belated New Year to all of you glorious Pigeon People! We are starting 2025 with a real bang after a short hiatus due to personal reasons, of which I am deeply sorry for. However, we are back and more motivated than ever, and so let's start with some cracking good news:

We are thrilled to announce that Penny and Hannah's story from the documentary, 'My Best Friend's An Animal' will be getting it's American premiere on the channel Nat Geo Wild on the 24th January- 9pm Eastern Standard time & 8pm Central Standard Time.

It will then be available for streaming on Disney + on  Saturday 25th January!​​

Here I was on Monday, living my best life pretending to be the pigeon lady from Home Alone 2. I was feeding them seed and they were so friendly and I was in my element. I love pigeons and I’m glad to have found my people in this group!

Hello everyone,

I wanted to thank you all for the love and support shown in this group and apologise for my absence over the last couple of months. Without going into too much detail, I have sadly suffered a bereavement of someone very close to me, and so many things in my personal life have taken a hiatus. Including this incredible movement. However, behind the scenes there has been some movement and I have recently met with a charity commission organisation to support me in opening donations for our cause. In other news, the incredible Darcy and Luna Designs has collaborated with us on a beautiful card in Penny's honour. I want you to know that myself and Trustees are slowly picking things up again and to watch this space for plenty more pigeon love and how we are going to be moving forward.
